We are specialists in Cultural & Traditional Performances, Live entertainment, and Arts and Cultural management Consultancy. Other activities include participating in international art and cultural festivals, producing thematic stage plays and skits, making films, Storytelling, Theatre for Development, performing at Musical concerts, Training, Adjudicating during artistic competitions, Children’s Theatre, and managing international cultural and art-based programs.
House Of Talent is made up of professionally trained musicians, dancers, actors, actresses and dramatists. We have come together with an aim of professionalising the performing arts sector thereby contributing to Uganda’s efforts to reduce poverty by creating employment. We believe that when you bring young people together from different racial, cultural, and socio-economic backgrounds and challenge them to develop their own solutions, they will respond with energy, imagination, commitment and action. That is who we are and what we do!
We believe in partnerships and thus are readily available to partner with all individuals, agencies, corporate bodies and organizations of goodwill who wish to make a difference in the lives of young people by developing and supporting their artistic talent and hence make our dreams come true while enlisting our services and support to achieve your mission too! Individuals and organizations are welcome to contribute to this dream through a number of ways as listed below:
Becoming a Friend of House of Talent: Friends of House of Talent are individuals, foreign missions, agencies, organizations and corporate bodies who are seeking to support and promote the Ugandan performing arts, the youth and are passionate about House of Talent’s programs and its activities.
Donations and grants (Seed money or in –kind contributions); are welcome to enable House of Talent fully establish itself with office equipment, Resource Centre and financial support to run its programs.
Hiring House Of Talent Cultural Ensemble: to perform at your social, corporate or private function for your guests’ relaxation, entertainment and enjoyment.
Contracting HOT to disseminate your important messages about your community programs, services, products.
Contracting HOT to design and maintain your website.
Supporting the HOT Scholarships scheme; by contributing to the school fees and/or scholastic materials for one or all of our 10 talented secondary school going young performers.
Infrastructural Capacity building: By contributing to our infrastructural capacity building program.
Training and Continuous Professional Development: Given that we are artists who are desirous to professionalize the arts, Continuous Professional Development (CPD) is a must! We therefore request that you add us on your contact list for invitation whenever your organization has training opportunities.
All support given to House of Talent for any of the above areas or any other way you may be inspired, is very welcome for it will definitely boost House Of Talent’s capacity to deliver income- generating products and services that would facilitate our sustainability beyond grants and donations.
