Launch of a research journal
13 August 2008
There is an opportunity to be present on site via the Access Grid at the Universities of Canterbury, Victoria, Auckland Waikato and Massey in New Zealand or to join in the launch internationally via a web link to your university. (Contact: Tracey Gaskin for more information on local or international linking opportunities tracey.gaskin@canterbury.ac.nz )
I would suggest that this is an ideal opportunity to introduce tertiary students and students undertaking postgraduate studies to a new refereed journal which may well support their studies in the performing arts. Please encourage your colleagues to register on line on the Drama New Zealand site and to post a comment as an indication of their support for our Drama New Zealand / University of Canterbury contribution to the world of research in the performing arts and education.
It is important to acknowledge at this time that the journal is open access – a rare thing in the world of international journals. This does not make it any less worthwhile!
